Shooter & Jong Haw Lee

sm Dong Chol LeeDr. Shooter, also known as Rev. Dr. Dong Chol Lee, is the Associate Director of Antidote Ministries. With a deep background in leadership and ministry, he has been actively involved in facilitating small groups and coordinating efforts across Asian nations and the United States alongside Dr. Chris Creech. Over the years, Dr. Shooter has gained extensive knowledge of Antidote principles and witnessed transformative changes in the lives of leaders who participated in Antidote seminars.

In his current role, Dr. Shooter has committed himself to serving in two primary areas: Antidote Ministries and Crisis Management for missionaries and Christian workers. He recognizes that the future will bring significant conflicts and crises, and he is dedicated to addressing these challenges through biblical and practical approaches. His work includes organizing conflict resolution seminars using Antidote resources, targeting Korean Christian entrepreneurs, missionaries, pastors, and the broader Christian community. In addition, he conducts marriage and family seminars to help couples establish and sustain healthy, thriving households. Dr. Shooter is also focused on mentoring and coaching missionaries, particularly those in under-resourced regions, or “2/3rd world” countries, equipping them to navigate crises and conflicts effectively.

Dr. Shooter and his wife, Jong Haw, have been committed to overseas missions since 1999. Their ministry journey has taken them to several countries, including a large Asian nation where they were forcibly expelled for Christian activities, as well as Singapore, Mongolia, and now Thailand. These cross-cultural experiences have shaped their ministry and given them valuable insights into serving diverse communities.

Dr. Shooter has made notable contributions to the Korean Christian community. He translated The Antidote into Korean and has worked with the Korean Crisis Management Service, helping resolve conflicts for missionaries in regions such as the Middle East and Europe. His expertise in crisis resolution has proven invaluable in supporting missionaries globally.

Dr. Shooter holds an M.Div. from the East Asia School of Theology in Singapore and a Ph.D. from Hanyang University in Seoul, South Korea. He was ordained through the Southern Baptist Convention in 2021. His wife, Jong Haw, holds a B.A. in Korean language and culture. Together, they have two daughters and remain devoted to advancing Christ-centered solutions for global challenges.
